Greetings Gents (and Ladies),

Grey flannel trousers.  Antonio says these should be a staple for all well dress gentlemen. I've been looking for a pair and have had little luck.  However, I just stumbled on some that may just work.

As you probably know, they are hard to find.  I know that Brooks Brothers carries them, but they are over $200.  Orvis carries them as well, but I believe they price them around $150.  And our beloved Antonio is apparently going to be offering them starting at $200 a pair.  So there are some options, but for someone in my position, the prices are too high for my liking.

Now for my discovery.  L.L. Bean carries a pair of 100% wool flannel trousers that come in charcoal and blue.  The best part is the price is $99.  This, I may be able to deal with.  Here is a link: http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/65708?feat=590-GN1&page=washable...

So, has anyone tried these out?  How are they? I was at the LL Bean store yesterday and they did not have any in store.  They appear to be online item only.  Thoughts?

Have you tried JC Penny lately? They have stepped up their men's dresswear and lowered their prices significantly.

Try Jos. A. Banks...I bought a pair for far under $100.  They're pleated and cuffed, on the darker side of medium grey.  Very comfortable.  I also ordered a pair from Michael Kors (I think) from Macys...also very nice but a little more money.  I'll have to llok at the LL Bean, I'd thought they discontinued them.

5 fascinating reasons cockroaches will outlive us all

Ah, cockroaches. The scummy, skittering, pesky little pests that somehow manage to vanish whenever you flick on the bathroom light. Like Mother Nature's little Batmans. Part of what makes them so hard to control is their resiliency, which is something of a biological marvel. Here are five reasons the humble roach will outlive us all:1. They can adapt at a scary-fast rateIn the mid-1980s, exterminators began mixing sugary roach-bait with slow-acting poisons intended to spread and wipe out entire…See More
