Hello, I'm Kevin Vanderheiden. Currently I live in Piscataway New Jersy. I'm employed in the logistics buisness, UPS. It is a demanding yet unsatisfiying job. Luckly I work towards an English Degree with the aspirations of teaching high school English.

I frequent this tresure trove of manilness for almost a year now. I find myself a better man then the last year. I do feel the loss of manilness, from the society at large.

I immensly enjoy the act of reading, especially the classics. I am a Metal head, went to see the band Down recently. The show rocked my face off. Being a metal head I posses an afinidy for black and inked skin.

I asked the woman of my dreams to marry me, we currently live together in an apartment. As soon as I finish up my degree and gain employment in my field we plan to tie the knot and start our family. In tpyical Americna fasion, two kids and a dog.

Welcome to, beyond the shadow of a doubt, the best site on this intellectual wasteland known as "The inerwebs", IMHO (for what that's worth).
Welcome to AoM, Kevin.
I enjoy acting like I am reading, too.

Welcome Kevin! Good to have another Metal head joining our community.

Hey there, a shout out from the west....of NJ that is.

Hunterdon county here. Went to Rutgers, so I used to know that area well.

Good luck with everything. I married the women of my dreams (actually one of my former roommates in New Brunswick). I gained employment in my field long ago, and have a house, two kids and a dog.

Hike on Saturday

I love hiking.  I usually go alone, or with my dog.  The solitude and peace "up there" is, for me, unmatched in the world. Here's a GoPro video link if you want to follow me along. Warning: It is 20 minutes long and 3GB.https://www.dropbox.com/s/8vz5u717yr8u03e/South%20Mountain%20%282017%29.mp4?dl=0See More

"Interesting list of arts.  I don't agree that all of these are necessary for a man to learn, but hey, neither is Minecraft and I enjoy it in my downtime.  I look forward to your next post."
