I found this website from occasional re-posts of Brett McKay's blog posts on LewRockwell.com. I thought some of the articles were interesting but it was not regular reading for me.
Then one day my feet hurt because my shoes were worn out, and I went looking for shoes, and couldn't find any really practical shoes in my size, and I searched online but was discouraged by consistent negative reviews on the issue of durability, and remembered this site and its grooming tips. So, I joined so I could post a question about recommended work shoes and boots (thanks for answers. I bought the Redwings).
Then I noticed that I had serendipitously stumbled onto a gold mine of posts asking for advice in personal matters in which I happen to have some training and experience. This could potentially be a win-win situation in terms of me learning more about your needs and feelings, some of you getting free advice (and worth what you paid for it; don't sue me), and me getting feedback.
Some of the most common obstacles to achieving our goals in life have to do with self-esteem, future orientation, the ability to proactively make plans and stay on track, the ability to manage our emotions, skill in managing both personal and public relationships, and the ability to maintain healthy thought habits that promote resourcefulness and resilience.
I probably come on a little strong. Don't be alarmed. Fairy harmless. Possibly even useful.

Probably the most accurate description of the source of all my relationship and work issues right there.
