Nice to meet all of you. I am a native Southerner (although if you ask my family we'll say we're German) moving to Colorado to begin my Master's degree. My educational background is in psychology, and I may or may not decide to pursue a career in counseling or education. I am an avid fan of video games, horror movies, and anything to do with fictional end-of-the-world scenarios. I also enjoy tabletop roleplaying games.

For various reasons my path in life has meandered quite a bit. I hope that by taking part in the forums and groups here on AoM I can maintain my motivation and keep focused on my goals. I am very interested in self-improvement, especially physically.

From one "New Guy" to another, Welcome! I can really identify when you say "my path in live has meandered quite a bit". While I am not disappointed with my life, I do feel that I haven't accomplished anything. At 28 years old, I still find myself thinking "what am I going to do with my life?" Here's hoping to find inspiration and motivation!

"A very good read. Will definitely check out Pascoe's books to see if they shed even more light on the situation."

"Fair enough but the point here is that gaming culture (and other nerdy cultures) aren't just exclusive and self-protective to what we might consider a normal degree like other sub-cultures are; they are openly hostile and offensive.…"

"I didn't care for the Quoniam. The ensemble was a little of tempo-wise. But the Cum Sancto was AMAZING!! Overall, quite well done."
