Nice to meet all of you. I am a native Southerner (although if you ask my family we'll say we're German) moving to Colorado to begin my Master's degree. My educational background is in psychology, and I may or may not decide to pursue a career in counseling or education. I am an avid fan of video games, horror movies, and anything to do with fictional end-of-the-world scenarios. I also enjoy tabletop roleplaying games.

For various reasons my path in life has meandered quite a bit. I hope that by taking part in the forums and groups here on AoM I can maintain my motivation and keep focused on my goals. I am very interested in self-improvement, especially physically.

From one "New Guy" to another, Welcome! I can really identify when you say "my path in live has meandered quite a bit". While I am not disappointed with my life, I do feel that I haven't accomplished anything. At 28 years old, I still find myself thinking "what am I going to do with my life?" Here's hoping to find inspiration and motivation!

"The only time I've ever worn spats was when I was on a military drill team.  Outside of that they're a bit archaic."
