Hey guys it's my little bro's b'day fast approaching.

He's turning 13 and I want to get him something cool, something constructive that he can have fun with.

That irons out video games.

He's a big fan of Lego, but I think he's growing older now and another Lego set won't particularly change his reality.

I'm thinking some cool clothes, a canvas to paint on (he's got some artistic abilities) and some books. Any good book ideas?

Thanks so much fellow hombres!

I am 17 and still play with LEGOs. The are fun. Get him something that will take a really long time to build and can also be used to make stuff up from his mind.

A Leatherman or a cool pocket knife

A fishing rod/reel and a few lures/soft baits

Some manly cologne

A gift card to an art store or a store like Bass Pro Shop

I wish that I had gotten these for my 13th birthday.

about the cologne... if you give a 13 yr old cologne, you are required to give a speech about "with great power comes great responsibility"

and yeah... Legos are still cool at that age, especially the advanced sets... but those can be expensive.

Legos are still cool at any age, but I have to wait until the kidos are a little older before my excuse to buy them is valid. Can't wait!

Fountain Pens
