Hey All,

I'll make this short, but I stumbled upon this site when researching Saftey razors. Its been a few (well shaven) months and I decided that I'd join and see if I could contribute something. I'm an avid car guy, with a racing hobby, I've trekked into motorcycles and just about everything in between. I drive a desk for a living and for the most part try to enjoy life.

Cheers

Greetings Ross! Trying to enjoy life is a great goal, I should try that.

What kind of car racing do you do?

Jonas,

The classics are great! I know a few of my friends picked up old CB's to make into cafe racers. I'm more of a modern guy and have had an sv650, an r6 with a few track goodies, and a DRZ-400sm which was a blast! I still have all my gear, but no motorcycle these days. But I'm sure I'll pick something up sometime.

Liam,

You have to enjoy it or what is the point of living it? I mainly do sports car racing in whatever car I can get into. I've raced for a shop or two, but now I just race my personal race car... when I have time, lol.

""Creative" can be learned, in my experience. Talent is helpful at the start, but hard work is the other 98% of what gets you there.  But I would agree with the "driven" aspect. You have to want to do it, and be willing to…"

""creative" You may have an interest in those things but do you have the talent?  My nephew wanted very much to be an NBA basketball player.  However, he didn't have the talent for such.  It's tough but it happens.…"
