For those of you who wear cowboy boots, how many pairs do you own?
This thread is aimed at those on here who like to wear cowboy boots, even if only occasionally -- how many pairs do you own?
Also, if you own, say, 5 or more pairs, do you wear boots exclusively (not counting at places like the gym, of course)?
Finally, if I may, I'd like to kindly request that if you don't wear boots, please refrain from responding. I'm requesting that so I won't get a buttload of responses saying, "I don't own any, sorry." Thank you.
I'll start -- I currently own 2 pairs, but I'm tempted to get at least one more pair. Yet I'm not really sure if there's any point in that, as I don't wear boots exclusively, unlike certain folks I know who have 10, 20, 50, or 100 pairs of boots.

What would be better than boots? I have 2 pair of work boots (black & brown) and the same in dress boots. My dress boots are the most comfortable things I ever had on my feet. I l also have a couple pair of dress shoes that are in the $400 dollar range, and while they are comfortable they do not offer the support of the boots.

I own four pairs and wear them quite a lot. Properly made boots will last for years and are awesome for most occasions.

Flat heels are okay, but Lucchese "walking heels" (1 and 3/8 heel) are great for walking too. At least I find they are. I have several pairs of lucchese.
I found that the flat heel or "roper" or "fowler" heel generally get a little too loose around the ankles because there's less of an angle, and after a while the boot is harder to keep on. Some people like that, but I prefer a snug fit, personally.....

I currently have two pair of cowboy style boots and a pair of hiking boots. I have a pair of Elephants with a leather sole for dress and I just purchased a pair of Rocky's with a rubber sole and inserts for daily wear. The last few years I have worn Ariat lace-ups but I wanted to go back to a traditional cowboy boot. Also the elephants have a narrow heel while the Rocky's have a wide lower more roper style heel. I am planning on getting at least one more pair of cowboy boots for working outside they will be much like the Rocky's but more plain so I won't feel bad we they get scrapped up and when I drowned them in Snow Seal to waterproof them.
I believe it was somewhere on this site that suggested you get a belt to match each pair of shoes or boots, especially for dress or work.

Just two pair of cowboy boots- black and brown...
Also have a pair of hiking boots, which I tend to wear most often...

three here, one pair for heavy dirty work(about to be retired), another pair for light work, farm auctions etc( soon to replace my main work boots), and the last pair for going out to the bar etc.

I wear them everyday. Almost exclusively. For whatever reason, I find them more comfortable than work boots, sneakers, or dress shoes. Right now I have five pair. 2 brown, 2 black, one of each color for dress or casual, and one pair on their last legs that I use for dirty work. All ropers. The dress pairs have some stitching, but all are pretty utilitarian. Keep the shoes plain, and the shine flashy is my rule.

I own four pairs for various occasions and they each get worn fairly often. 2 brown: 1 for work, 1 for casual. 2 black: 1 for casual, 1 for dress.
I like boots. If I'm not in the gym, I'm wearing some type of boot, whether it's cowboy or not.
