I have to vent somewhere. Last Sat, I went to a funeral service. Black suit, white shirt, black tie sapphire tie tack, black wingtips. i was surrounded by men in their 30s and 40s in shorts and flipflops at a funeral!. Couldnt they wear big boy pants and shoes for just two hours?

I could almost understand it if they were knuckle dragging teen males, they dont know any better, but these are grown "men". I knew that it was in the upper 80s that day, but come on, show respect for the family.
There was cookies and pop downstairs.
Wow. That is pretty sad. Come on, show some respect.
Part of being a man is to give you your comfort for the sake of others, like this mans children and family.
Men do not wear flip flops. The end. Next Question.

Oh also, Men wear a suit (or at least coat and tie in the case of a young man or a man who cannot afford a suit) to a funeral in respect of the dead. the end. period.
I have one pair of flip flops that i've had for over 10 years. I wear them to the beach and only the beach. And half the time i don't even like wearing them there, i'll usually wear some old slip on vans.

I never wore flip-flops until recently because I didn't think the world needed to see my feet (or most peoples' feet, frankly). Now I do wear them but only and I mean only around the house, in the gym locker room, or at the beach. Never anywhere else. I cringe when I see young people in flp-flops everywhere. Show at least a little class. Make an effort.

Exactly. The other day, I was escorting a group of college freshmen through a corporate bank here in Cleveland. The VP was taking us across the bank for a tour. The VP commented to two of my students, "feet hurt? If you work in a bank, you are on your feet all day." I looked, and they had taken their shoes off and was walking around the bank in their bare feet. They said," my feet hurt from real shoes." The back of my hand itched.
WOW - this blows my mind.....
Oh noes. Not the "Great Flip Flop Debate". This one gets almost as heated as the porn one...
Funny because we are all in agreement about flip flop porn.
Im sorry, what is flip flop porn?
