"I will second the Wild Turkey 101 suggestion. This is what I keep in my bar and I look for good value and good quality when buying alcohol. You can buy something better but dollar for dollar the 101 is hard to beat."
Favorite smell for shave soap?
Hello,
I started shaving with a safety razor not too long ago after my brother gave me a kit for my birthday. I tried the samples that he included, including a sandalwood. I found one that is fantastic, and it was Lavender and Cedar from the Napa Soap Co. I slather that lather on when I have a shave, and feel like a new man afterwards. i was curious to see what scents other members here have tried and liked.

My favorite scents include Truefitt & Hill Trafalgar (and Grafton too, though both may be a little on the "old man" side, 1805 is a "younger" smell), Crabtree & Evelyn Sienna (a lot of people like Nomad too), Speick, and Castle Forbes limes (like getting smacked in the face with a key lime pie).
