Alright lads,

I'd been reading the website on and off for a couple months and thought I'd sign up after reading the 45 Hobbies blog. I myself have a few hobbies listed on there including fly fishing and playing the acoustic guitar. My goals for the new year are to take up some more outdoor pursuits (camping, hiking etc..), strength training and maybe even a bit of woodworking. Hopefully some of your manliness will rub off on me (excuse the inuendo...)

A little background on myself: I'm 25, a recent graduate and I currently work in an Ale and Whisky pub. My mother's Irish, my father's a yank and by some unfortunate twist of fate I've ended up British. One of my favourite books is the Old Man and the Sea but the best read of last year had to be Dick Proenekke's Alone in the Wilderness (the edited diaries of an American who built a log cabin from scratch near Anchorage in Alaska and lived off the land there for 30 years).

Anyway, pleasure to meet you all I'm sure. Any questions, just shoot.
