In your opinion, what is the best, most goddamned manly movie ever made in the history of movies?
My personal favorite goes to "Steel Dawn", with Patrick Swayze playing this bad-ass desert-wandering sword fighter, who goes into this town and saves it by beating up a shit ton of evil bandit guys who want to take all the water. I not only consider it a truly "manly" movie, but also one of the best movies from the 80's, and perhaps of all time. It's pretty darn good in my personal opinion, even though not many people seem to know about it.
What are your guys' favs?
I don't like to watch TV/got to the movies alone, I see it as a shared experience.
So it's Sound of Music or whatever with my ladies....
The Last Samurai
Secondhand Lion, Star Trek movies with Capt Kirk, Heart Break Ridge and the Green Berets. Oh ya, Rob Roy also.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned it yet, but definitely Gran Torino with Clint Eastwood.
