Hello mates,

Largely, my beard is good.  Not perfect, though.  Very thick on the chin, sideburns good, slightly patchy in the middle of the jaw, thin on neck (underside of jaw).  For some unknown reason, the left side of my chin has thinned out quite a bit, and it looks lopsided.  Not sure why.

I do have a terrible habit of fiddling with my beard (and therefore pulling hairs) without intentionally doing it, and I continually try to find ways to subvert myself.

Anyway, any ideas on a good beard vitamin or a way to thicken my beard just a tad more?

I've never tried it myself as I am normally a shaver, not a bearder - but you may want to check out http://www.dollarbeardclub.com

They have a lot of beard products, and they may have something that coincides with what you need. Good luck!

While Dollar Beard Club works fine for a budget, I would recommend going with a slightly higher quality. Granted, my beard has no issues with thickness, but from what I've seen of friends and family, it doesn't seem to help. Just my two cents.

"Not without my Rogaine."

I believe the only research-proven way to increase the number of the hair-producing follicles on your face is to age. Which, conversely, tends to reduce the number on the top of your head.

Two things; first, be sure you are keeping your beard carefully groomed; you should stop it's growth two fingers width above your Adam's Apple, and if it is a little thin, don't let it grow longer than 1 1/2 in. in length. Second; your beard will eventually 'fill in' it will get thicker as you put months on it. Thickness isn't as important as grooming....you'll do fine!

Hey there! Beards are like a source of pride for men. But it can be tough if it is not in genes, right? See the point is to make your beard grow thicker the first thing to do is start exercising regularly. This will help blood circulation which promotes healthy follicles and hair growth. Improve your diet. Beard products can also work wonders for you. You can just apply a little amount of beard balm or bear oil to your beard hair and you will be good to go.Reduce stress by meditation and other stress relieving activities. And please do stop that habit. Groom your beard time to time that is what matters too.

"Yup. I'll roll with this. I have trapped and skinned/eaten. And still hunted smaller game. I have not killed and butchered my own deer, but I agree in general. I also think it is valuable to spend some quality time on a working farm. There…"
