I'm starting up a fantasy football league for AoM. It will be autopick draft, which means you rank players when you set up your team, and then once everyone is in, it drafts for you based on how you rank your players. It will be head-to-head and there will be a total of ten teams, including myself, so there are nine open slots. The first people to register will get the slots, so please only join if you intend on sticking it out through the season.

To join, click on the link below then under "fantasy games" on the right hand side, click "sign up now" under "Fantasy Football '12". Then, click join a league and type in the league ID and Password.

Perhaps I wasn't quick enough, but I get an error when I try to access the site:

There was a problem

  • You are not allowed to view this page because you are not in this league. (Error #152)

Did you go to join a league, or did you try to access it some other way?

I just clicked on the link directly from here.

*Update: The link doesn't work unless you've already joined the league. You have to copy/paste the link instead.

Oh okay, I see what is wrong now. I'll update the original post with better instructions and a different link.

Fixed with pictures and whatnot.

Only two teams so far? Surely there are more folks than that who might be interested...

Yeah I was expecting one league to not be enough

Thank you for hosting the league, I am signed up and looking forward to a great season

When is the draft?

It is auto-draft, so anytime before the season, set your rankings for what players you want to draft. Once everyone has set their draft, it will draft for us. Anyone who hasn't set their rankings before the start of the season, will automatically draft based on Yahoo's rankings.

Ok.

If we only end up with 4 teams I'm probably going to reconsider. I'm not sure I want to commit the time just to play the same 3 guys each week...

Fair enough. I'm really surprised we haven't gotten more interest in this with how many people are on this site. Guess we have a few more days though to get people in.

Tamar Gendler: An Introduction to the Philosophy of Politics and Economics

Tamar Gendler, Department of Philosophy Chair at Yale University, Cognitive ScientistWho gets what and who says so? These two questions underlie and inform every social arrangement from the resolution of schoolyard squabbles to the meta-structure of human societies. They are also the basis of political philosophy. Professor Tamar Gendler uses the work of three titans of the discipline, Thomas Hobbes, John Rawls, and Robert Nozick, as a lens to guide us through the taut debate about the role of…See More

"Yes it is.  And if anybody were doing that, we'd have a right to be concerned.  But discussing the roots, realities, and results of feminism is not racism (by any stretch imaginable), nor is it sexism."
