In my mind hunting is a pretty manly hobby. Hunting lets me get back to my roots and it really cleanses the soul. Taking down game animals is such an adrenaline rush and the meat you kill is so much healthier than food in the stores. Its such a great hobby, and I've met some great people through it.

I live in North Carolina and hunt Turkeys, Deer, and small game. I usually use a ruger .308 rifle when deer hunting, but I have gotten really into bow hunting the past two seasons. But turkey hunting is my favorite, because it is warmer in the spring and I love hearing big toms gobbling through the trees. Plus they are smart animals.

So, do any of y'all hunt? If so, what? Where?

I hunt white tail deer as well as chucker, quail and pheasant. It is great being outdoors in God's country and I could spend hours and hours in the deer stand just watching the wildlife and walking the country with the dogs bird hunting.

Couldnt agree more. I havent done any bird hunting, or hunting with dogs, but I imagine it is awesome
