In my mind hunting is a pretty manly hobby. Hunting lets me get back to my roots and it really cleanses the soul. Taking down game animals is such an adrenaline rush and the meat you kill is so much healthier than food in the stores. Its such a great hobby, and I've met some great people through it.

I live in North Carolina and hunt Turkeys, Deer, and small game. I usually use a ruger .308 rifle when deer hunting, but I have gotten really into bow hunting the past two seasons. But turkey hunting is my favorite, because it is warmer in the spring and I love hearing big toms gobbling through the trees. Plus they are smart animals.

So, do any of y'all hunt? If so, what? Where?

I hunt white tail deer as well as chucker, quail and pheasant. It is great being outdoors in God's country and I could spend hours and hours in the deer stand just watching the wildlife and walking the country with the dogs bird hunting.

Couldnt agree more. I havent done any bird hunting, or hunting with dogs, but I imagine it is awesome

Explain this anti-rape add to me, please

Hi folks,So, friends of mine brought this to my attention, because they considered it hilariously funny:Now, it seems that this is not a hoax, but, like, a real advertisement made by an institution or initiative that seems to take itself very seriously:http://www.rapecrisisscotland.org.uk/…See More

"Chip, I've encouraged my sons (35 and 40) to get a baseline on what their testosterone levels are now. With that, they have an idea what a "normal" range is for them. In years to come that might help to determine if their levels are…"

"Pants pocket...in the car? Haha, no... When you get in the car, a phone is like a .44mag, take it out of the pocket, and put it where you can easily access it. Cup holder works well, unless it's a giant one."

The Barbershop

It's just seems natural that Art of Manliness should have a barbershop group.  My intent of this group is to gather and share general thoughts and experiences concerning barbershops. Anything from a good barbershop that you have found  to pictures and stories of shops you have visited to discussing anything barbershop.  See More
