Hello fellow readers and members! I've been a member for a little while but I really feel like introducing myself. I am a high schooler from the Baltimore area and I discovered this website when I was in middle school. This site changed my life. As time has gone on I have developed myself into who I want to be. My friends and acquaintances say that when they think of me they think of Frank Sinatra and classiness (quite an honorable compliment). I aspire to be a filmmaker when I am older and thus that is my main interest. My other interests include cinema, television, literature, writing, music (guitar and euphonium), history, philosophy, photography, comedy, theatre, acting, the mafia (history), home theater, Italy (culture and language), camping and the outdoors, Star Trek, and classic men's fashion. I am quite cynical and critical but I am one to look for new ideas. I have many manly skills that are fun to put to use. I will tell you all that I love this site and I base my life and future around the ideals of respect that are taught and discussed here. If anybody wants to talk about any of my interests, just let me know and I'll be happy to discuss. I'll leave with a quote from Pokemon (I was never a fan surprisingly): "I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant; it is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are."

You have a great attitude, Daniel. You will meet an intelligent, well-rounded group of men on this site. I wish I had access to this much masculine affirmation when I was in high school. Feel free to bounce any idea off these guys.

Live long and prosper, Daniel!

Peace and long life.

Enjoy film, its an exciting world. Things just sort of happen.

What exactly do you want to do? Its a hard industry and will make you cry a few times before you decide if you want it or not.

Wouldn't really say mainly skills are "fun to put to use." Thats more what you'd describe as necessities of life.

I would like to get involved in Directing for either film or television. I would like to do writing but I think it would be best to go with one direction until I can have more options. Are you in the industry?

"I totally agree. I wonder, though, about the width.  If you're an unusual size, you usually can't get your size at the lowest price tier, and sometimes not even mid-tier.  I looked at a few oxfords on walmart's website to…"

"I've said this before, and it's still true. You're looking for a style. What is your requirement with regards to quality? Style and taste exist independent of price. You can shop at Walmart and look like the proverbial million…"

"Well, no, recognizing love as having an action component is not changing its definition.  It's adhering to it.   But it's apparent we won't get an agreement on this."

Christian Men

Regardless of the specifics, we can all agree on one thing. Jesus Christ was the perfect Man who died and rose again for us such that we could have fellowship with Him

"Macys has some extra-wide loafers around $80. If you go into the store, you can learn your best sizes and brands, and look for them on ebay, or buy online from sites that don't offer returns."
