Simple question. You are allowed to have 7 cars. All you have to pay for is gas and you cannot sell them. They have to be street legal and they can be purchased either in the US or abroad.

Which 7 cars would you pick for your garage?

Had to think a bit... no particular order....

73 ford maverick 2 door (already own)

R34 skyline

Ford falcon XB

Sierra 4 door 4wd, dually diesel...

54 Mercedes 300sl

Ford GT40

Pagani Zonda R

1. 2008 VW GTI (my current car)

2. BMW M3

3. Porsche 911 GT2

4. Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing

5. Jeep Wrangler

6. Ford F250

7. Porsche Cayenne Turbo

Only seven?

1. K3500 from the mid 2000s.  (one ton 4x4) Chevy or GMC - Extended cab, 8ft bed duramax diesel, 6 speed manual, single rear wheel (had a dually once, hated it) limited slip rear end.   Have to get this used, to my understanding GM no longer sells pickups with manual transmissions.

2, 1968 Firebird 400 4speed (already have)

3. Turbo Diesel Mercedes Sedan - decent performance in a family hauler with good fuel economy.  Even "crappy" Mercedes diesel autos are 1/2 million mile cars.

4. Commuter - TDI Smart car.   takes car from ridiculously low 40mpg gas to 60-70 mpg diesel.   Why get that car (other than to be trendy) with two seats and 40-45mpg in the gas versions?   Only in North America 2005-2006?   some canadian models being slipped south.

4a. If not a used TDI Smart, then a 6 speed Chevy Cruze Eco.   Room for four (kinda) rated at 42mph highway.   I've seen reports on people getting up to 48mpg highway.    Test drove several - decent, except no power in 6th gear.  (small engine, lotta overdrive)

5. 49-50 Mercury 4 door (suicide doors) dropped on 68-72 chevelle-Lemans-cutlass frame.   Probably go with GM LS series V8.

6. http://www.factoryfive.com/kits/gtm-supercar/

7.  Suburban.   3/4 ton.   or older model with one ton axles.    4x4.  Swapped in diesel.

71 Grand Torino GT; 68 GT500; 78 F150; a tricycle, a bicycle, a brown HMMWV, and a sailor's old lady- while he's gone to sea.
1. Rolling up to Monte Carlo -- Ferrari 458 Italia Spider.

2. Cruising the Pacific Coast Highway -- E-Type convertible, Series 1.

3. The Workhorse -- Brand new Toyota Tundra

4. Track day -- Lotus 340R (not gonna win any races, but I challenge you to name a car that looks more fun to swing around bends at 90 mph)

5. Everyday Use -- 2011 Toyota Prius (say what you will. The inside looks like a spaceship and there's plenty of cargo room for groceries. Easy on the environment, too)

6. If You Got It, Flaunt It -- 1934 M-B 500K

7. Date night -- 2014 Ford Mustang (when available) Just enough edge to attract a girl with some spice, not flashy or "sugar daddy" enough to attract gold-diggers and try-hards.
  1. The new Aston Martin Vanquish

Christian Men

Regardless of the specifics, we can all agree on one thing. Jesus Christ was the perfect Man who died and rose again for us such that we could have fellowship with Him

Need girl advice

I'm sorry this is so long, but I need some serious advice about a girl.  This question is the sole reason I actually signed up, though I've been frequenting this site for years.  I have been dating this girl for six months.  Was dating, rather.  I just broke up with her yesterday.  You see, I'm madly in love with her, but I think it was just the wrong time for us to possibly work out.  I'm getting deployed in July and will be gone for almost a year.  She is going to Europe for two months…See More

"Any belt over an inch and a quarter or more wide. You want to fill the loops and not have fabric hanging over the belt."
