"Day 2: Shining my shoes
This one was a little tough, as I am in my college dorm the day before thanksgiving with no car to go buy polish, so I made due. Pulled some Mcguyver stuff. Another member suggested a cotton t shirt and wax, so I improvised…"
"looks like I'm a little late to the party but better late than never.

I uploaded a couple photos from my phone with the intention of making one a profile pic. It seems that when I try to add a profile picture it wants to browse my computer for one. I'm sure I'm making this harder than it needs to be. I'm used to just clicking the "make this your profile pic" on Facebook. Also, can we "crop" a photo? Please help...that is, when you find the time. ps...really love the site, resources, etc. Keep doing, what your doing...it's appreciated!
I just wanted to thank you for everything you have been doing. I have thoroughly enjoyed everything you have done on the blog and your books. I appreciate that you have showed me that I really can become a "man" without turning on my values and being a pig. I do not have a male role model in my life, but the blog and community have guided me through many situations. Nice to know there are good people in the world still standing.
No, Thank you! I do public speaking engagements and am using "The Fighter" by S.E. Kiser tomorrow for one such engagement! Excited to use it and see how it goes over. I think it'll be great. I've finished the book and once I knock off a couple other books on my list, I'm going back to Manvotionals for a second go-around.
I've been following AoM for almost one year. I just wanted to congratulate with you and your wife for the good work you are doing. Your posts can help lots of men to find themselves and to re-define manliness.
"I know it's a tad outdated, but this conversation caught my eye. I've had problems with boundaries with my family since before I got married and now that my son was recently born, it seems like the issues have resurfaced. For example, over…"
"I personally carry when the situation merits it-i.e. walking through my neighborhood (not exactly the best place, to be honest-drugs are a serious issue, the sheriff just shut down TWO meth labs within 6 miles of my house), going into a seedy part…"
I have come to the realization that I have a fondness for the Golden Leaf, in virtually all it's forms. I love a good cigar with a nice scotch (or just walking around the neighborhood), nothing like a pipe to calm the nerves after a long, hard day, hookah is just ace, and well, as much as I hate to admit it, even a good Class A Cigarette has it's place in my weekly tobacco usage (more on that in a moment).I want to learn all I can about tobacco as a hobby (not growing it, YET)-the different…See More
Hey everyone, I recently graduated college last December with a B.S. in biology and am currently pursuing a research career in the medical field. I began applying about four months ago, and have filled out nearly a hundred applications spanning multiple hospitals and states. I have had 2 interviews at the same hospital which came down to me and one other individual, but in both circumstances, the applicant who was chosen had worked the same position previously.I currently hold a part time job…See More
"I have a handgun and a concealed carry permit. I don't ordinarily carry a gun. I've never been in a situation where I would have used it if I had had it, and the odds of such a situation arising are, for me, usually…"
